Small Business Reality Check

Don’t Even Think About Investing In Any of Those “Work-From-Home Business Opportunities”—or in ANY Business—Before Having a Reality Check!

Text Box: “9 out of every 10 businesses ultimately fail. In the vast majority of failures, the actions and decisions of the owner(s) directly contributed to the downfall. Before investing any money, time, or effort in a business venture, it is absolutely vital to perform a reality check to determine whether or not you are truly suited to owning a business.”

We have all seen those never-ending sales letters telling us all about the benefits of owning your own business, such as:

  • Unlimited Income Potential
  •  Setting Your Own Hours
  • Be Your Own Boss
  • Creative Freedom
  • Spending More Time with Friends and Family
Blah, Blah, Blah.

Not only is that list simply highlighting the “possible” benefits, it is not even accurate!  Do you really think owning your own business, at least in the first year or two, will allow you to spend more time with friends and family?  More responsibilities, more duties, and more pressure to succeed without knowing where your next paycheck is coming from—does that really sound like a situation that would free up more time to spend with friends and family?

The fact is that in 99.9999% of the cases, owning your own business will mean more work, longer hours, and less free time with friends and family.  Anyone claiming otherwise is just promising you the moon and hoping you “click here to buy now”—period.

Hello, my name is Syd Stewart and I have been running my own business(es) for nearly three decades now.  I am now enjoying the fruits of those labors but I can certainly tell you that this idea of more time with friends and family—at least in the beginning—is a complete lie along with most of what you read on the Internet these days!

The unrealistic expectations created by those “Promise You the Moon” sales letters are one of the largest reasons why so many businesses fail.  If you don’t know what to Successhonestly expect—how can you hope to plan and prepare for anything?  By the time reality sets in and you realize what is going on—it’s too late, your money is gone, and whoever sold you that “work from home business opportunity” is off peddling their dreams and lies to someone else down the road.

Before you can decide on starting one business or another, you first need to know your realistic chances for success.  Do you have the personality, support structure, and resources to own your own business?  Is your business likely to be a success because it shares traits commonly found in successful companies?  Do you possess the traits of a successful person—and if not—what, if anything, can be done about it?

You see, there seems to be a lot of information missing from most of those “promise the moon” business opportunities, doesn’t there?

Going into business is perhaps one of the largest single decisions you will ever make in your life—don’t you deserve to know ALL the facts before making such a big commitment?  No matter what type of business you are considering opening, you need to first read my free report “Reality Check:  Are You Ready To Own Your Own Business?”—Includes Free Bonus Section On Spotting Work From Home Business Scams!
